We are excited to announce the official start of the project "From Raw Collection to Digital Collection" (RCtoDC), a European initiative dedicated to preserving and sharing the cultural heritage of Croatia, Slovenia, and Austria in the digital age.

General objectives of the RCtoDC project are:

1. Digitize cultural heritage artefacts at risk and make them available to the public through the use of 3D and XR technologies
2. Create a Toolkit for 3D and XR digitization
3. Offer online and on-site trainings for cultural heritage institutions and other stakeholders
4. Two new collections on Europeana, one of baroque sculptures by Francesco Robba and one of baroque objects from Croatia and Slovenia
5. Equalizing digitization across Europe
    

The kick-off meeting is organized by the project coordinator Orsula d.o.o. on 24 October 2024.
