First 3D Scanning Completed in Križevci
We are proud to announce that the first 3D scanning under the EU project From Raw Collection to Digital Collection (RCtoDC) has been successfully completed on April 29, 2025, in Križevci.
The scanned object is the Altar of the Holy Cross, originally created in 1756 by renowned Baroque sculptor Francesco Robba for the Zagreb Cathedral. After the 1880 earthquake, it was relocated to the Church of the Holy Cross in Križevci.
Using the Artec Leo handheld 3D scanner, we captured the altar in high detail, laying the groundwork for its digital preservation and presentation. This marks the first step in our mission to digitally document Robba’s artworks across Croatia, Slovenia, and Austria.
Stay tuned for more updates as we continue our journey of preserving European cultural heritage.
