Saint Leopold Sculpture - Now in 3D on Sketchfab
A 3D scan of the Saint Leopold sculpture from the Klagenfurt Cathedral is now available online.
The sculpture was digitized using the Artec Leo and Canon EOS R5 Mark II, with processing completed in Artec Studio 19 to achieve a highly accurate and detailed digital model.
Originally part of the monument of St. John of Nepomuk (c. 1737), the sculpture of Saint Leopold is one of the few remaining figures from the ensemble, which once stood prominently in Klagenfurt’s main square. After the monument’s removal in 1874, this remarkable Baroque figure found its home at the cathedral, where it continues to be preserved today.
Now, thanks to advanced 3D scanning technology, viewers can explore every intricate detail of Francesco Robba's craftsmanship from anywhere in the world.
