Francesco Robba’s St Roch Sculpture Now Available in Digital Form
A 3D scan of Francesco Robba’s marble sculpture of St Roch from the Klagenfurt Cathedral is now accessible online.
The scan was captured using the Artec Leo and Canon EOS R5 Mark II, and processed in Artec Studio Professional to ensure a precise and detailed digital representation of this Baroque masterpiece.
Originally part of the public monument of St John of Nepomuk (c. 1737), located in Klagenfurt’s main square, the monument was removed in 1874. From the original seven sculptures, only four survive today, including St Roch, now preserved at the cathedral.
