On February 12, 2026, the RCtoDC project held its fifth webinar, Best Practices in 3D Scanning for Cultural Heritage. The event, hosted on Google Workspace, brought together museum professionals, conservators, and researchers to explore research-grade and scalable approaches to 3D digitization.

We covered essential topics such as advanced scanning workflows, practical examples of digital preservation, and insights on how to maximize the impact of digital heritage assets. In addition, we discussed strategies for integrating these models into conservation, research, and public access initiatives to ensure our cultural history remains accessible for generations to come.
